A few weeks ago we visited The Bridge Tavern on bank holiday Monday to try their menu after hearing only good things about the food they serve!
I love this place for a drink so was very excited to try the food. We ordered a bit of a random spread but just fancied some picky bits of food. We tried the haggis toastie which was my favourite, it was unreal 😍😍 with a side of greens and chips, the chips were so fluffy just like they should be and we loved the buttered greens!
We also had the meat plank which consisted of ham hock, pig cheek & pickled carrot terrine, duck liver pate, grilled sausage, pigs head croquette and sourdough toast 🤩 the terrine and pate were a little salty for me but did taste delicious, my favourite had to be the sausage and the pigs head croquette, they were v delicious 😍
We got to enjoy the last of the summer weather sat on the terrace which is a lovely spot for food and drinks 🌞 how I wish I could spend every Monday like that!
