Forest Hills Station House
Crispy Chicken Strips from Forest Hills Station House – panko breaded boneless chicken, comes with house-cut fries and ranch & bbq sauce $16 .
We used to frequent fhstationhouse a lot pre pandemic, it would be one our regular spots after the gym… yes, all that working out, gone in a flash… but totally worth it… . . The crispy strips caught my eye as I like to try new things… it was on their appetizer section but some of their “appetizer” items can really be an entree. . . The chicken is very thin, so with the panko, it is very crispy (hence, the name), and not overly oily either… you don’t feel like you’re eating grease… kids would love this platter and low and behold, we were told it was the owners sons idea… I guess I think/eat like a kid sometimes 🤷🏻‍♀️… it comes with bbq and ranch sauce, both very good, so good, I even dipped the fries in it… sorry ketchup… . . They often come out with specials and seasonal food items… you can never go wrong with their staples like, the decadent burger, bacon cheeseburger, stoutbread, mac&cheese just to name a few cause they also have an awesome brunch menu as well… . . Check them out in you’re in the area. They have heated outdoor dining… . .
