Spinach & Artichoke Dip
First had this at amiciph and I just kept dreaming about it. Finally got all the ingredients and now I’m in heaven.
Ingredients 🪴
120 grams artichoke, chopped a bunch of fresh spinach, chopped 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 white onion, diced 1 tablespoon olive oil 4 oz cream cheese 8 oz sour cream 1/4 cup whipped cream 1/4 cup fresh milk 4 tbsp unsalted butter 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese salt and pepper to taste pepper flakes for garnish
Directions 🪴
🫕 Place a large pan over medium heat and pour in oil. Once hot, put in onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent and mix in spinach, salt and pepper. Cook until spinach is wilted then set aside.
🫕 Put artichokes into the hot pan, sauté and char a bit. Set aside.
🫕 In the same pan over medium heat, melt together cream cheese, sour cream, butter, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Slowly stir in cream and milk. Stir frequently until melted and an even consistency. It should start to bubble.
🫕 Finally, stir in spinach mix and artichoke hearts. Serve hot with tortilla chips from manilabambifoodscompany or crostini and garnish with pepper flakes.
